A video cuts in, unexpectedly, fading up from black to reveal a view of Tokyo at night. Bright lights all around as traffic whizzes by below as we look out at the city from the balcony of a hotel. At the same time the picture fades up so does some music, “Never Will I Break” by 3 Doors Down.

There are two figures on the balcony, both leaning on the railing and taking in this view and both with their backs to the camera.

The music fades down a little as the two men begin to talk. From this vantage point it’s not clear which one is speaking at any one time.
Man 1: “It’s been a long time since I was here; the land of the Rising Sun.”
Man 2: “The land of Rising Sons.”
Man 1: “This city proved to be a turning point in my career before.”
Man 2: “Coming here signalled the end for me.”
Man 1: “Now here we both are again.”
Man 2: “Separately this city has seen us fall.”
Man 1: “Together it will witness us rise again.”
Together: “And never will I break.”
