It has now been over twelve months since August Joyce was last seen by any of his friends, family or colleagues. But finally we may have a solid lead on his whereabouts.
Last Monday, June 21 2010, we received an e-mail from a man in Banff, Alberta. The man had supposedly recognised August as he walked passed the bar where the man was drinking. August is said to have looked in a bad way, bloodied and bruised. He was apparently walking alongside a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
We have tried following up this lead but the RCMP have denied that anyone fitting August’s description was arrested, held or questioned recently in the Banff area.
Then, two days later we received another message. August had been seen with another man in Jasper, Alberta, around 300km north of his previous sighting. August was seen running past the entrance of the Whistlers Inn, he was being chased.
Our source has provided a description of the man he saw, which has been passed to the RCMP. They have created a photofit id of the man, shown below.
If you recognise this man or if you have seen August Joyce, please get in touch.
