Joyce: For almost two years I’ve been used and abused by that bastard, Gabriel Gambino. He threatened my family and my friends. He mentally corrupted me to the point that I couldn’t tell what was right or wrong any more.
But now I’m a free man. Now I begin on the path to redemption.
But am I really going to find redemption in the MWA? Can I really come to work every Monday night and see Mick Monsoon and Earls Bickelsbottoms? Will you, the fans of the MWA, ever forgive me?
I don’t know if you will. I don’t know if I want you to.
You know, I never believed that I belonged here in the MWA. I always felt that something more powerful than fate helped me get my spot on the roster. And I always felt that luck paid more than its fair share in helping me become Millennium Champion.
But when I was touring Canada, competing in small venues and fighting people you’ve probably never heard of… I believed in myself. I believed that I was destined for good things. Ben and I kicked ass wherever we went. I earned my nickname, the Peoples Choice.
I know I’m not your choice. I never was and probably never will be.
And that’s why this match tonight with Ryan Tyler will be my last for the Millennium Wrestling Alliance.
Tonight I will give my all. I will fight with every last breath, with every remaining ounce of strength that I can muster. I intend to bow out as best I can, go out with a bang. My last hurrah.
So, Tyler, get your ass out here and prepare to be schooled!
