In the background we here the crack of leather on willow and a roaring crowd. The picture fades up to reveal a stadium where a match of Cricket is in full swing. A man is seen, his back to the camera, looking out at the match in progress.
“I used to think; I can’t keep going.”
The screen cuts to black again and the sound stops dead. After a brief moment there is a new sound, the sound of a funfair. Rollercoasters rumbling and children screaming. Music blaring and bumpercars bumping.
There’s a man stood in the entrance way to the park, people walking by him with balloons, candyfloss and popcorn as we watch over his shoulder.
“I used to think; I can’t start again.”
Again the screen cuts to black and the noise turns to silence.
“But there is no I in team.”
