[The arena falls quiet, briefly, until “Never Will I Break” by 3 Doors Down begins to play out over the PA system.]

#Wash this blood off my hands for me while I cry out
#Don’t let me die before I go to sleep

#But I can’t start again
[The lights in the arena cut out and the music stops dead. A brief moment later there’s a bright light on the entrance ramp and the silhouette of Tim Worthington. Tim steps forwards, revealing himself and his crisp three piece light grey suit Pyro explodes all along the stage and the music re-starts as Worthington makes his way to the ring.]
#The road I walk is paved with broken promises I’ve made
#At least a million times I’ve fallen
#But never will I break
[Worthington climbs into the ring and salutes the crowd as he is passed a microphone by Kendra Wing. The music fades out and Tim is ready to address the crowd.]
TW- It’s been over four months now since I came back to the MWA; four months since I decided retirement wasn’t for me. And it’s not been the easiest four months of my career, I can tell you. I joined Premier Wrestling back in the UK, which was a mistake I’m not going to replicate. And I’ve come back to the MWA, my spiritual home, and suffered the worst losing streak of my career. They say you should never go back; and those who said that openly to me four months ago are probably sat back thinking how right they were.
[Tim walks around the ring for a moment, thinking about what to say.]
TW- I’ve had fans, crew members, wrestlers and reporters all say the same thing about me. And, yea, I hear you all when you think I’m out of ear shot. You’re all saying that I’m passed it and, worse, that I’m ruining my legacy here in the MWA. Well, to anyone who thinks that, I say a hearty “fuck you”! I’m a two time MWA World Heavyweight Champion and a bone fide Hall of Fame inductee. You think I’m passed it? Did you not see I put on a match of the year candidate with Kacy Knight?
[The crowd cheer at the mention of Kacy.]
TW- While I may not be on the best form of my life right now, never will I be put down by my doubters. Never will I bow to public pressure and back away from this ring. NEVER will I give up. NEVER will I walk away. NEVER WILL I BREAK!
TW- I’ll tell you what I will do. I will pick myself up, dust myself off and go again. You see form is temporary; class is permanent. And I will show my true class when I rise to the top once again. And I promise you this, with the good people of Miami as my witness…
[Cheap pop!]
TW- By the end of this year I will be a three time MWA World Heavyweight Champion!
[The crowd begin to chant “Worthington, Worthington, Worthington” and 3 Doors Down begins to play again. Tim salutes the crowd once again before handing the microphone back to Kendra and making his way out of the ring.]
