This is an excerpt of the Peach State show, Breakaway, in which August was a part of their Irish Battle Royal.
“King Nothing” by Metallica started the show, as the crowd immediately booed for that jackass, Nick King. He made his way to the ring, being slow and methodical. I don’t like King, but he is talented. Him winning the title a year ago wasn’t a fluke, and neither was him winning it back from Trenton either. He is the real deal, but his attitude–
He had to threaten Natalie to get a mic. That right there was uncalled for. I knew he was going to be starting the show off with a promo, but that wasn’t necessary.
…
…
You’re damn right I’m not posting that shit King. I’m sure people will see it on Youtube later, but if you think I’m going to give you a voice for your trash, you’ve got another thing coming. I’m not sitting in a damn office, I’m sitting right here, and you’re more than welcome to climb out of the ring and do something about it, but then again, that would mean you are eliminated, and there goes your quest for the title right then and there.
Sorry, everyone, I’ve never said I was fair and impartial, but King needs to be gone. His promo started out bashing everyone in Peach State Wrestling from Jody, to the wrestlers, to the fans, saying he was the only one worth anything here. I’ve got news for you King, when you have to result in making fun of a 168lb non-wrestler to get a reaction, you really should look in the mirror. You wanted to be the most hated man in Peach State, well, you got your wish.
I’m not going to dignify it with a response, I’m just hoping that somebody puts him in his place tonight.
And here comes the first man to be able to do it, as “The People’s Choice” August Joyce makes his return to Peach State Wrestling! The crowd hasn’t forgotten him in the least, as they give him a warm reaction as he makes his way to the ring.
Nick King waits for him in the corner as August climbs into the ring. He climbs up in the corner and raises his hands to the crowd, who respond in kind. King just shakes his head, like he can’t believe this, but after the promo he just delivered, the crowd was ready to cheer for somebody. August dropped out of the corner, and…immediately turned, and speared Nick King. The crowd went wild as King is driven into the mat hard, and August is on top, raining down right hands onto King.
King manages to block one or two blows, and wiggle away from August, who gets back to his feet. King gets back to his feet, only to get met with a huge right hand from August. Nick is stunned and falls back into the corner. Joyce stuns him further with a huge open hand chop, before sending him to the otherside with a very appropriate Irish whip. King hits the corner hard, rebounding out of it, only to be met by Joyce, who catches him with a perfect back body drop that sends King 10 feet into the air, before he lands hard on his back in the center of the ring.
The crowd is chanting “PEOPLE’S CHOICE” as Joyce measures King, who is struggling to get back to his feet. King gets back up, and Joyce goes for a reverse neckbreaker, but King blocked it, and twists it into his own neckbreaker. Joyce goes down hard, holding his neck, and King rolls away, making it to the corner, to catch his breath. This quieted the crowd significantly.
King pulled himself up to his feet using the ropes, as August got to one knee, and King rushed him, driving him with a hard knee strike. Joyce went down, as King doubles back around, coming down with a jumping knee strike, landing on Joyce’s shoulder. King dropped back to a seated position, a smirk on his face, as Joyce struggled to move.
King gets back to his feet, and bends down to pick up August. He lifts him to his feet, and goes for a suplex, but August blocks it with his leg. King goes for it again, but once again, August blocks it. Now it’s August turn to try for one, and he’s successful, getting King up and over with a vertical suplex that puts King down to the mat once again.
Then the beeping starts. I honestly didn’t know what it was at first, but it’s how they’re going to let everyone know that two minutes is up. “Uprising” by Muse plays and we get our first look at newcomer Sebastian Montecelli, and this is one of those times where I’m very glad that I’m typing this up instead of saying it, because I’d have trouble pronouncing his last name.
Montecelli comes out to a small reaction, the crowd not quite sure how to react to him just yet, and climbs into the ring. Montecelli doesn’t waste anytime, as he goes straight for August Joyce. Joyce, who just got back to his feet, is immediately taken from behind with a German suplex. Joyce’s shoulders and neck slam into the mat, only for Montecelli to hold onto the move, rolls it around, and lifts him up again, bringing him down again with another German suplex. This time he releases it, and immediately gets back to his feet.
Montecelli gets back to his feet, looking from both Nick King and August Joyce, both who are down. He moves toward King, but King was apparently playing a little possum, because as Montecelli bent down to lift him up, King drove a chop straight into his throat. Montecelli stumbles away, holding his throat. Montecelli turns back toward King, who grabs him, and then drops him backwards with a inverted Russian leg sweep. Montcelli hits the mat face first, and bounces away, rolling to the side, as King gets back to his feet. He showboats for a second, before turning his attention back to Joyce.
He drives a hard kick into Joyce’s side, flipping him over to his side. He drives another kick, this time into his chest, putting him on his back, before jumping up into the air, and coming down with a double foot stomp straight into his stomach. King walks away, as Joyce hunches over holding his gut. King smirks once again, and lifts Joyce up, striking him with a chop, sending him to the ropes. King whips him to the otherside, but before he can deliver an offensive move, Montecelli nails Joyce with a clothesline. King didn’t seem to like his plan being interrupted, and rushes Montecelli, nailing him with a shoulder block, sending him back into the corner.

“No Regrets” by Dappy begins to play, and out comes Finn Cambridge. He rushes into the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope and goes straight for King, nailing him in the back of his head with a forearm. King slams into Montcelli, before being turned around and nailed by a right hand from Cambridge. Cambridge grabs his hand and sends him to the otherside of the ring. King slams into the corner, and Cambridge rushes straight after him, but at the last second, King slides out of the way. Cambridge slams into the corner hard, chest first, and stumbles backwards. King grabs a handful of Finn’s hair, turns, and throws him over the top rope. Cambridge lands feet first on the apron, and struggles to hold on.
Cambridge turns around, and grabs ahold of King in an attempt to stay in the ring, but King rakes his fingers across his eyes, blinding him, and forcing him to let go, and then nails him with a right hand, sending Cambridge off the apron to the floor below, and our first superstar to be eliminated.
King smirks down at Finn, before turning back around, right into a left hand by Montecelli. King stumbles to the corner, and Montecelli follows him in, but King uses the ropes for leverage and lifts up, kicking Finn with both feet in the chest. Montecelli stumbles backwards, and King comes out of the corner, colliding with a huge clubbing clothesline against Montecelli’s head. Montecelli goes down hard, but some how manages to get right back up, unfortunately, King turns, and comes at him again, catching him with another clothesline. Once again, Montecelli gets back up, and once again, King turns and comes at him with another clothesline, but this time Montecelli ducks down, grabbing ahold of King’s arm, spinning him around, butterflying his arms, and lifting him up, and driving him backwards with a butterfly suplex, something you just don’t see a whole lot of anymore.
Montecelli immediately walks over to Joyce, who is pulling himself up to his feet using the ropes. Montecelli strikes him with a kidney punch, stunning Joyce, causing him to stumble to one side. Montecelli grabs Joyce’s head and throws him head first into the corner. Montecelli turns Joyce around, but Joyce comes around firing, hammering Montecelli with a right, then a left.

Now it’s time to find out who’s replacing Matt Reynolds in this match, as “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC begins to play, which doesn’t help me in figuring out who it is, and then Kit Kelsey steps out from the entrance.
I knew he was a wrestler, but I thought he was done wrestling. Something about a shoulder injury. I guess Matt wasn’t the only one planning to come out of retirement. Granted, Kit is younger than Matt, but I literally know nothing about him, other than he’s the one behind Brute Svenson in both a managerial role and just trying to handle the giant.
Kelsey rushes into the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope, showing no lingering problems from any sort of injury, just as Joyce nails Montecelli with a huge right hand, sending him toward the incoming Kit Kelsey. Kelsey leaps up, catching him with a huge dropkick. Montecelli stumbles backwards toward Joyce, who grabs him from behind, lifting him up, and then dumps him over the top rope. Montecelli lands on the apron, and drops to the floor.
And we have our second person eliminated, as Joyce and Kelsey eye each other, when suddenly King nails Kelsey from behind, knocking him forward into Joyce. Both men are forced back into the corner, where King comes in, driving a knee into Kelsey’s back, before grabbing him, and throwing him backwards, coming back and driving a huge forearm across Joyce’s chest.
Kelsey stumbles toward the center of the ring, before he steadies himself, and rushes toward King, but King drives a mule kick backwards that catches Kelsey in his stomach. He doubles over, and King turns toward him, grabbing his head, and driving a double knee strike into his head. Kelsey falls backwards, holding his head, as he rolls away. King turns back around, but Joyce catches him with a European uppercut. King takes a step backwards, but Joyce hits him with another one, and another one.

“Let’s See Action” by The Who and out comes Blaine Harrison. The crowd cheers for him as he makes his way to the ring. He starts out slowly, but then rushes inside, sliding into the ring. He goes straight for Nick King, catching the already stunned King with a tackle. Blaine hammers King hard with rights and lefts, made no bones about it that he didn’t like King early on.
Joyce takes a step backwards, leaning against the corner to take a breath, but then he shakes his head, moving over to Kit Kelsey, catching him with a European uppercut, forcing him back into the ropes, while on the otherside, Blaine hammers King, until King pokes him in the eye, blinding him. King rocks him off of him with an inside elbow. King slowly gets back to his feet, and drives a huge kick to Blaine’s head. Blaine drops down, rolling away.
Joyce starts to whip Kelsey, but Kelsey reverses it, sending Joyce to the other ropes, but as he does, King grabs ahold of the top rope and drops down. Joyce hits full force against the ropes, but without the support of the top rope, he flips over it and drops to the ground. The crowd can’t believe it that Joyce has been eliminated just like that. King gets back to his feet, smirking down at Joyce for a second, before turning back his attention to the two people left in the ring.
