Tim Worthington discusses upcoming FRONTIER appearance

My last foray into Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER was an interesting one. Sheik Abdul-Wahid wanted to step back into the company and make a name for himself, but he came up against a resurgent Tim Worthington and I wiped the floor with him.

So when the opportunity to come back here presented itself I, naturally, jumped at the chance. Any time I get to step out in front of a UK audience is a good day. In fact that was why I joined Premier Wrestling recently. But, just like the inside of Sheik’s head, something wasn’t right.

The company was small, really small. I mean they put out a card that had just one match on it. A four man, over the top rope battle royal as your ENTIRE show? The UK fans deserve so much more for their money and, frankly, I think they get that with FRONTIER. So you’re getting a Tim Worthington exclusive right here, I quit Premier Wrestling!

I need to focus on my run in the MWA and once this weekend is out of the way that’s exactly what I’m going to do. So who better as my FRONTIER opponent this weekend than Kevin Hardaway. A man who helped make this company what it is today, a man whose own forays into the MWA have led to a match on pay per view in just a few short weeks against Gabriel Gambino.

But Hardaway is also a man who likes to bitch and moan. You welcome all challengers, get into a war of words with them online and ask to be booked against them. Then, when it happens you whine about it like a child. You want to get revenge on Alex Jones? You want to re-live past glories with Spike Kane? You want to prove your superiority over Gabe Gambino? And then, after all this, you moan about a lack of GFC Title shots…

The annoying thing is I know you have the talent to become GFC Champion again. You have the fan base of a champion; you have the drive of a champion. But you need to learn to play with the hand you were dealt. I know you’d rather be facing Kenchi Yamamoto or Alex Jones, but you have me to contend with instead. And if you’re mind is elsewhere you may just find I become the second person to beat you here in FRONTIER.

And wouldn’t that just throw a spanner in the works!

You saw off Gabe; you bested Spike; you ran Robbie Stein out of town… all things that should help your case in getting a GFC Championship match. But if I come along and beat your ass? Well then all that will be worth squat. Suddenly you’re they guy that lost to a washed up has been, trying to regain some long lost glories. May I remind you that in the past few months, since coming out of retirement, I am yet to win a single match. Losing to me will do one hell of a dent to your ego as well as your title quest.

But for me? A win over the first ever GFC Champion, FRONTIER’s wrestler of 2011… that would be the catalyst for me to move onto bigger and better things. After all, you are allegedly the best wrestler in After all, you are allegedly the best wrestler in the solar system. If I beat you will that make me the best wrestler in the universe?
